The last solo album I released was in 2005 and I have a whole bunch of songs that I would LOVE to record. One reason that it's been 7 years since my last solo album is that I was a member of The Newsboys from November 2005 through December 2008 and focused all my attention on writing, recording and touring with them. Another reason is that I left my record label in 2009 and have not had the finances to fund my own project since. I wanted to write and record songs that I was passionate about and not ones designed to fit into any specific market and in order to do this I left my record label. However, without the backing of a label, there has been no budget for a new album. So, I thought I’d see if there was anyone out there who was interested in helping me release these songs. Any amount that you can donate will get me closer to returning to the studio and with your help, I hope to start recording again in June with the album releasing in October this year.

Snu is Norwegian for Turn. I learnt this word on my first trip to Norway when I was introducing the song TURN. For some reason I always loved it. In Jan 2011 I did 11 shows in 14 days all around Norway and I wrote a little bit of this song every night on stage. It is essentially a love song to the 5 million people in Norway. It's such an amazing country and I love the people there. I tried to make the song really pop and it was amazing to hear 5,000 people sing it in July this year at the Seaside Festival in Norway. I've worked alongside an organization called NOT FOR SALE for the last few years. Kru Nam is an amazing freedom fighter who has rescued hundreds of kids from the sex slave trade in Thailand. I wrote this song as a tribute to her. Check out www.notforsalecampaign.org
